After closing their offices and suspending their in-person services throughout the US due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the USCIS has advised today that they plan to begin reopening their offices on May 4, 2020 unless public closures are extended further.

Clients who have appointments for interviews or biometrics will be advised of new dates.

The USCIS has kept working on cases and performing other duties that do not involve contact with the public, although their emergency services, such as premium processing, have been suspended.
