Congratulations to Mark Wasuita, Co-Director of the Master of Science program in Critical Curatorial Conceptual Practices in Architecture at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation.

Mark’s Extraordinary Ability Green Card application was recently approved. We filed his case on November 30, 2021, using the Premium Processing service and received an onerous Request for Evidence (RFE), which showed that the reviewing officer had little understanding of Mark’s original contributions to the field of architecture. In fact, the officer only conceded that we had met one criteria out of the ten available criteria. An applicant must meet at least three criteria. Upon submitting our response, the case was rapidly approved on May 18, 2022. Despite the discouraging contents of the RFE, our firm belief in the strength of this case persuaded us to submit a response and, with Mark’s very diligent input, we were able to overcome the RFE
