Wuyahuang Li is an accomplished architectural designer who earned his Master of Science in Architecture from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 2021. Since 2022, he has served as a Project Manager and Lead Designer at a prominent architecture firm in New York.
Wu is truly one of the most mentally resilient clients I’ve ever worked with. His agent-based O-1 petition, submitted in August 2024, was randomly assigned to USCIS’s California Service Center. Without premium processing, we waited a full eight months before it was finally approved in March of this year!
That said, strong designers like Wu almost always get approved in the end. His credentials are undeniably impressive—he has contributed to outstanding projects such as The People’s Theatre in Manhattan, which garnered widespread attention from leading industry media including Dezeen, Wallpaper, and The Architect’s Newspaper. His work has also been featured in major international exhibitions, including the Lisbon Architecture Triennale and the Venice Architecture Biennale, receiving high praise from established figures in the field.
In addition, Wu has published interdisciplinary research and design articles on influential platforms such as MIT Imprint, the CHI Conference, and Business of Fashion (BoF), showcasing his unique blend of innovation, design thinking, and academic depth. With such a solid portfolio, the approval of Wu’s O-1 petition felt entirely natural.
Wu shared:
“As an architectural designer, securing my O-1 visa was a complex and crucial process, and I’m incredibly grateful to Jane and her team for making it happen. Special thanks to Rongrong, whose exceptional communication and support made the entire process smooth and straightforward. I highly recommend their office to fellow architects seeking expert legal assistance!”
